Hadassah celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Hadassah College of Tiffany and co Technology with a luncheon and style show on Wednesday, May 15, 11:30 a.m., at the Highland Country Club.
According to Faye Ruback, luncheon chairman, “Clothing by students from the College will be modeled along with fashions from The Avenue and jewelry from The Jeweled Edge. A musical selection by Maxine Noodell, accompanied by Mary Lynn Gregory will be featured.
Clothing models include Susie Drazen, Debbie Feldman, Tiffany earrings Franklin, Helen Frenkel, Eliane Freund, Dorothy Frieden, Kari Kauvar, Marcia Kleinberg, Sarah Kohll, Cheryl Kricsfeld, Dory Mawyer, Rozanne Milner, Sandy Nogg, Carol Parsow, Susie Shyken and Miriam Simon.
Jewelry models are Bonnie Colcher, Hortense Dersh, Beverly Franklin, Beth Gaynes Ginsberg, Julee Katzman, Corinne Levin, Sarah Lewis, Ann Margolin and Georgia Ann Steinberg, Esther Wax.
Assisting Mrs. Ruback with the event are Carole Widman, invitations; Shaylene Kauvar and Georgia Ann Steinberg, decorations; Bette Kozlen, publicity; and style show coordinators, Elaine Feldman, Corinne Levin and Sandy Nogg.
Carole Widman, fund-raising vice president, reminds everyone to call her, 397-1498, with reservations key rings by May 8. Cost to members is $8.50 for lunch plus their contributions to Hadassah Israel Education Service (HIES). Non-member guests may attend for the cost of lunch only ($12).
The Youth Aliyah drawing will be held with first prize of $300; second prize, $100; and four third prizes of $50 each.
Hadassah’s Regional president, Ellen Albin, will install the incoming officers which include: president, Julee Katzman; educational vice president, Susan Paley; fund-raising vice president, Susie Rubin; membership vice presidents, Eliane Freund and Audrey Epstein; local services, Beth Gaynes Ginsberg; corresponding secretary, Susie Shyken; financial secretary, Rita Novak; recording secretary, Marsha Kleinberg; treasurer, Shaylene Kauvar; adviser, Beverly Franklin.
